The Sunrise Senior Living Education Foundation schools were built with amazing wisdom which recognized the need for schools to demonstrate a commitment not only to strong academics but also to providing formal instruction in Character Education. The Sunrise Senior Living Education Foundation Board was founded in 1986 and formally adopted the legacy which Rachel O. Merritt and Wilhelmina Klaassen built into their schools’ daily curriculum.
