We believe education can take place in many forms and in a variety of places.

Throughout the year, special assembly programs that enhance the themes or concepts being taught are brought to the Appletree students. We remember that celebrations of annual holidays and birthdays are an important aspect of growing up. We encourage parents to participate in many of these events so that school becomes part of family.

Field trips are also taken in the Preschool and Academy. Pumpkin patches, theatres, historical landmarks and county facilities are a few of the places that traditionally await Appletree students’ inquisitive minds. It is our intention to illustrate to the students that learning is exciting and takes place in a variety of forms.
